Should You Use Mouthwash?

Cleaning, which is at the forefront of protecting the health of teeth and gums, is correct and regular brushing.

Mouthwashes, on the other hand, are relatively in the background.

Mouthwashes obtained from easily accessible markets give a temporary feeling of freshness and cleanliness when used. Therefore, it is preferred by the society.

Excessive use of mouthwash may cause a lack of taste, irritation, and disruption of the balance of oral flora.

Alcohol does not remove bad breath, on the contrary; Alcohol causes bad breath. For this reason, mouthwashes containing alcohol should definitely not be preferred.

Mouthwashes containing chlorhexidine are sometimes prescribed by dentists. It should not be used unconsciously.

If there is bad breath, there must be an underlying cause. The most common;  It is bad breath originating from teeth, gingiva and prosthesis.  Consult your dentist and get examined.
